Brief description:
Quickly secured, quickly released – the award-winning anchor plate for maximum flexibility and safety when camping.
Description:
The Fix&Go Anchor Plate 2.0 allows awning legs to be quickly and securely anchored to the ground – regardless of weather conditions. The system enables quick insertion and removal of the legs with just one hand, so the awning can be extended and retracted at any time.
The design fits most common awning legs and tent poles. The use of Peg&Stop screw pegs with a lock nut ensures a firm hold even on difficult ground. Due to the wide contact surface, the legs do not sink into soft ground.
Instructions for use:
- Open the sliders by pressing the orange buttons together and pulling them apart.
- Optional: Thread the storm hook through one of the square holes from bottom to top. Guy lines or storm straps can be attached there either directly downwards (to avoid tripping hazards) or at a 45° angle, if space permits.
- Place the plate on the ground and adjust the awning leg.
- Enclose the foot by simply pressing the sliders together (the buttons no longer need to be pressed).
- Depending on the ground conditions, use the appropriate Peggy screw pegs to properly anchor the plate to the ground:
- Compact, normal soils: 3× P&S S (in a triangle shape)
- Hard, stony soils: 2× HC diagonally
- Sandy conditions: 1× L in the open hole + 3× P&S S
- Use lock nuts and hooks if the peg cannot be fully screwed in.
Tips for use:
Fix&Go Anchor Plate 2.0:
- It is best to use the plate in combination with Peggy screw pegs – only these offer the advantage of extreme hold due to the cutting and simultaneously compacting thread, as well as height adjustment using a lock nut and hook.
- Clean the base plate regularly to prevent the sliders from blocking due to dirt particles – in areas with a lot of debris or sand, the Bridge PP18 can help.
- In case of extreme weather changes, the awning must be retracted. Open the sliders (quick release) to remove the awning legs and store the awning securely in its box.
Storm Hook:
- Can be used to tension the TieStrap directly to the anchor plate – e.g. if space on the pitch is limited.
Attention: Delivered without awning leg!
Attention: The awning legs from Obelink do not fit into the plate, as the awning was developed after our plate!
