silwy® FAQ

silwy® products utilize integrated magnets in the glass or dishes, which adhere securely to special metal counterparts (nano-gel pads, metal strips, etc.). This prevents rattling, slipping, or tipping over – ideal for travel, camping, boats, or home use. Thanks to the integrated magnet, consumers also don't need to worry about rust formation when washing up.

Crystal glasses: high quality made of Tritan composite, very durable.

With the metal nano-gel accessories ( pads , mats , placemats ), silwy® magnetic products stand securely on tables or in cupboards – even while driving or on the water. The gel layer allows for residue-free removal and repositioning, ideal for smooth, sealed surfaces. Simply clean with water if needed – full adhesive strength is restored after drying. The mats are cut to size, elegantly finished, and perfect for customers who prefer not to make permanent changes.

The metal strip allows your customers to securely attach silwy® magnetic products upside down in a cupboard or vertically on the wall. This ensures everything stays reliably in place, even while driving.

The big advantage: glasses and dishes can be stored upside down – the storage space is used optimally.
Ideal for motorhomes, boats and small kitchens.

The strip is permanently mounted using strong 3M adhesive tape. Therefore, the mounting location should be carefully chosen in advance. Smooth, sealed surfaces are recommended for best adhesion. Clean the surface, press the strip firmly into place, and wait 24 hours before attaching the product.

The pads adhere to all surfaces that are smooth / sealed / flat.
Teak wood should be avoided. Oiled and uneven surfaces are also not recommended.

The surface should be smooth and cleaned with rubbing alcohol beforehand.
The 3M adhesive tape is removed from the strip and the strip is mounted in the desired location.

The silwy® metal strip (!) is required for this.

The metal nano-gel pads included with all glass sets are not suitable for this purpose. The metal nano-gel mats and placemats are also not suitable for upside-down storage.

The 25cm metal rail can hold three glasses. The 50cm metal rail can hold six glasses.

The pads can be easily cleaned under running water and then left to dry for about 10 minutes. After that, their full adhesive strength is restored – the pads are like new again.

The pads should be stored in a dry place, protected from sunlight.

silwy® Tip: After use, peel off the pads, attach them to a clear film and store them in the cupboard until the next use.
